• Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS).
• Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, syping, calcium, re-groove, foam fill, etc.
• Ensure all equipment, tools and supplies are returned in good working condition to proper location, and immediately reporting any concerns, or damaged equipment or tools to Supervisor for repair or replacement.
• Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner; this includes utilizing proper barriers to maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring equipment and loads in company vehicles are safely secured for transportation.

What does it take to get on track?

• High school diploma and one year of tire-related experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Working knowledge of passenger, light truck, medium truck, farm, industrial and OTR tires, specialty tire services, and wheels with a keen attention to detail.
• A customer service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers; this includes good communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision; this includes organization, time management and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated initiative in recognizing opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract from province of residence.
• Basic computer skills to successfully complete required learning and safety courses and achieve certification where required.
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms.

We are seeking a full time Instructional Designer/Project Manager to join our Calgary team. Interested in learning more?

What You Do:

Working within the Instructional Design team, you are responsible for the design and project management of online learning platforms. Working with clients, subject matter experts and multi-disciplinary project teams; your role is dynamic and fast-paced with a focus on meeting clients' business needs, realizing project milestones, and creating positive learner experiences.


Instructional Design

· Identify and recommend online learning solutions to meet client's business need and the project budget

· Collect and review materials for content that support learning objectives (policies, presentation material, past courses, subject matter expert, manuals, company communications)

· Organize, write and edit design documents with content and syntax that meets client audience and standard

· Design interactive and assessments that comply with the client's requirements and have strong educational value

· Guide and communicate the vision and graphical treatment of the learning solution to the Project Team

· Gather client-specific photos, links, documents required for the development of the project

· Obtain and design within the technical and deployment specs of the client's learning management infrastructure

· Possess a thorough understanding of our design and technical capabilities


Project Management

· Create and carry out project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

· Identify and communicate resources needed with Project Team

· Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope

· Manages day-to-day client interaction including detailed status reports

· Prepare for process and billing milestones

· Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately

· Set and manage client expectations

· Follow process requirements and best practices for a more efficient work flow

· Educate and empower clients to our process for the best results

· Identify and communicate "add-on" sales opportunities as it relates to a specific project


What You Know

· Degree in Education, Instructional Design or a related field or two or more years of related experience in education, training or instructional design.

· Strong understanding of adult learning methodologies and assessment techniques

· Training or experience in Project Management an asset

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

· Strong verbal and written business communication skills

· Ability to:

o Adapt writing and instructional design to a variety of audiences

o Visualize a finished product before its completion

o Work both with a team and independently in a fast-paced environment

o Be self-motivated, organized and accountable

o Manage projects and timelines

o Manage changing priorities in demanding and dynamic work environment

o Communicate confidently with and present to clients in a variety of situations
